About me
Hello and a warm welcome to Mindful Space!
My name is Megan- I’m a Mammy to 3 beautiful children, a supportive partner and work full time. And I have ADHD. So you are in good company if your life feels quite hectic! I was diagnosed with ADHD at 32 and, sadly like many adult women, I have spent most of my life wondering, “what’s wrong with me?” When I received my ADHD diagnosis, I went through a _____ of emotions; initial relief of having some understanding of myself, sorrow for ‘what could have been different’ had I known sooner and, ultimately, frustration when it dawned on me that, even with this knowledge, my struggles were still the same.
And this was where Mindful Space was born.
I threw myself into understanding the complexities of ADHD, and desperately seeked out any support to help me understand myself and find ways to manage some my chaotic mind. I found none.
So, I decided to set up Mindful Space to create a community where others felt validated, understood and I could offer real and effective support.
Mindful Space offers a range of wellbeing services for everyone, not just those who are affected by ADHD. With Mindful Space you will;
– Manage overwhelming emotions
– Understand yourself and your mind
– Learn about why we act how we do
– Develop strategies to manage behaviours and emotions which are causing us difficulties
– Feel part of a community where you are valued and validated
And most importantly
– Love and understand who you are.
